Stuck at signing in. Since I got latest upgrade from Logos 5, it will not go past sign in.3515.Logos Log Files.zip
Hi Jeff - and welcome to the forums.
(suggest you edit your post and remove what I assume it your email address to avoid it being picked up by spam bots. To do this, click the "More" button and select Edit).
A couple of your log files are old and so don't help with this particular problem.
The other one (Logos.log) shows something which I don't understand.
It indicates that Logos SW is installed in a folder structure rooted on "Logos 5" as opposed to "Logos 4" which shouldn't happen if you have upgraded from an earlier version. How did you install / upgrade to L5?
Suggest you repost this in the Logos 5 forum - http://community.logos.com/forums/109.aspx - so it can be picked up there
Graham
Unfortunately, the log shows nothing (the crash errors are old errors and therefore not relevant). When you post in the L5 forum, please be sure to specify exactly what happens when you try and sign in: freeze? crash? error message (if so, what)? before or after you type log-in details? how long do you have to wait? etc.
It freezes, after typing log-in. I waited about 8 hours and it would not unfreeze.
I had just installed windows 8 and it wiped out logos 4 except the files. I downloaded Logos 5 and it added my old files to the new.
The log shows it stalls when calling in to log you in. Do you operate behind a firewall? If so, you may want to make sure that you're allowing Logos.exe (replaces Logos4.exe) to connect to the internet.
If that's not the issue, try clicking the "Work Offline" button and see if that works.
Work off line worked! Thanks for all the help everybody!
I'm glad you're working again.
But the underlying problem still needs to be addressed, unless you don't want updates to your program and resources as they become available, and you don't want to sync your data with any other devices. I suggest you call tech support on Monday to see if they can diagnose and resolve the issue for you.
The number I have is 1-800-875-6467. Is there a better number to reach the tech people?
That's the one.
