Downloading of Bibles and other books?

How do I go about downloading bibles and other books through the android app?

I'm using a combination of Nexus 7 and Samsung Galaxy Note

From the library there should be a circle with the letter "i" in the middle. Tap there and you should have the option to download.

I have tried to download the ESV Bible for my Android phone (I have Scholar's Silver) but it doesn't seem to let me. There is no download option, although there is one for the NIV Bible and many other resources. Any ideas?

There are some issues if network connections are dropped while library updates are taking place - this can cause the symptoms you are seeing.

According to http://community.logos.com/forums/t/59555.aspx this is fixed in the latest beta release (available at http://community.logos.com/forums/t/61106.aspx) but before moving to the beta platform I suggest you read the warnings at http://community.logos.com/forums/t/59519.aspx

Then it will be a tradeoff between accepting the beta risks or waiting until the stable release is available which includes these fixes
