How to put the Catholic Books on top in Verbum

I have just got the starter Verbum software, previously I had an old protestant package going back 10 years.

I want to know how to bring the new Catholic books to the top of the search, because at the moment it still brings the protestant books up first.

Is there also a way of finding books from my previous package and removing the ones I don't want.

Possibly you should request that all protestant books be removed entirely from Logos.

You can hide the books you do not want and they will be removed from your computer (I am not at my computer now so I cannot give you the specific step, perhaps someone else can.) You would have the option of adding them again if the future if you desire.

Another option would be to create a collection of just the Catholic books you desire and then search only those.

While hiding many of the books is highly desirable you probably want to prioritise

Logos doesn't automatically know you want to use your new and improved books[:P]

But prioritsation doesn't affect the order of results returned in a basic search

Thank you for this, I went into library and typed in Catholic, then selected all and made them all priority [;)]

I just need to learn how to hide books now [:)]
