Bug: Hebrew Popup Morph/Syntax Definitions not working in information window

What resource is needed to show the Hebrew popup morph/syntax definitions in the information window? In a Greek text, I can click on a word and then hover over a term (i.e dative) and it will tell me what it means. It's getting the definition from the Glossary of Morpho-Syntactic Database Terminology. Is there a similar resource that works for the Hebrew terms like Hifil, etc.? I have Logos 4 Platinum and have installed the Logos 5 crossover, by the way.

Hmmm... Same for me. That glossary has entries for Hebrew so I don't see why it's not showing anything, they're linked as though they're meant to pop up something.

I'd suggest renaming this thread to something like: "Bug: Hebrew morph-syntax definition popups not working in Information window" so logos team more likely to notice it

I see that the glossary has entries for Hebrew, too. I didn't notice that before. So, you're right it must be a bug.

What Hebrew resources are you using (please provide the information at the bottom of the information panel on the "backside" of the resource. You'll find this by clicking the "i" in the top right.

If I understand the other users correctly, the morph information appears in the information window, but the popup definitions of the morphological terms is what is missing? This is my experience

My experience is the same as yours, David. Except the Greek definitions popup as expected, but not the Hebrew.

Ahh yes, It was the source resource whose information I was looking for, but now that I know it was from the ESV I was able to reproduce the behavior. For some reason it seems where the information between the glossary, and the information panel should be connected it is not connected.

I'll write up a case for this. Someone will be back to update this thread with news about the case (probably only when it is fixed in a beta release).

Thanks for looking into this, Tommy. My experience is that in Hebrew the popup definitions don't work with any of my translations, not just the ESV.

It looks like we are aware of the issue. I don't have an ETA on the resolution, however. Usually we indicate updates for resources on the home page of Logos 5. I'll see if there is a file to look for that has been updated that will signify that it has been fixed.

The update, when it happens, won't require a re-start so I don't think you'll see anything on the home page. Bottom line is that we know about it and are working on fixing it.
