I recently bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab2 primarily for casual reading and taking notes. In general, tablets underwhelm me but for kicking back and reading a book from cover to cover, and for portability, they seem to be a great solution.
Using the Logos Bible app (ver 2.2.7) accomplishes the task well. However, I do have a few observations/suggestions for the developers. I am probably late to the party and these items have been discussed at length in other threads ... if so, please forgive and just add my comments to those.
1) Has anyone put together an Android app video? Searched but couldn't find anything.
2) Effectively scrolling through the Library (5000 items +/-) is a mystery to me. If I use my finger or a stylus pen to try and scroll, I either inadvertently open a book(s), or letters pop out from the right side, or I see either one of two different elevators, or the scrolling can jump ahead to a different letter, or sometimes I get lucky and I get a smooth continuous scroll. I get the idea of what is trying to be accomplished but, either I wasn't privy to the secret handshake and magic decoder ring to make it work, or the scrolling needs to be reworked to be more intuitive and less likely to misfire.
3) I think I saw a thread questioning how to store books on the microSD card. Definitely would be nice ... entire library could easily fit on a 32GB card for non-connected situations.
4) Bookmarks? Are there any or do I need to reopen my book every time? A set of 7 or 8 bookmarks would really be handy.
Thnx.
