Different number of resources on 2 computers

I have 2 computers - 1 is connected to the internet the other is not. I initially installed my resources on my offline computer from L3. Last week I received the dvd from Logos with the L4 resources on it and after using the "Scan command" in the command box it has 2311resources. But my online computer has 2303 resources. Why the difference?

I am sure that I can get the other 8 resources onto my online computer by repeating the process, but what why would the dvd have 8 resources that Logos' servers does not?

Have you used the Sermon file add-in? If so, those files don't transfer via the cloud. I had to copy over my sermons, illustrations and IIRC timelines...

It would not. The 8 extra files must be hanging over from your L3 install; probably help resources that won't be downloaded on the online one since they're not needed. Open a library tab on each machine, and enter type:manual... Any difference?

if it helps, I can tell you that I installed L3 on two computers and
had different number of resources on both computers. To make matters
worse, many times I retried to count the resources via bibliography and
the number of locked resources plus the number of unlocked resources
never added up to the number of resources I had in total. As well, the
number of unlocked resources seemed to change. I finally started going
down each list in the Bibliography, found one resource that was listed
in the Bibliography on one computer and not on the other...but the
resource actually existed and was unlocked on both computers! I came
to the conclusion that the Bibliography in L3 was unreliable in
determining the number of resources I actually had.

One problem I encountered when copying resources between different locations was file corruptions (not many). When the file was corrupted, it was not read by Logos.
