Just over these last weeks I get a message that "the Logos 4 Indexer has stopped working." This is each time I boot my computer. It seems that my Logos 4 does not index anyomore. Has anyone faced this problem? Any suggestions?
This seems to be an increasingly frequent occurrence since Logos 5 came out.
First of all, it would be helpful to know what version of L4 or L5 you're running, and what computer and operating system you're using. Then provide us with the log files. See http://wiki.logos.com/Diagnostic_Logging if you're unfamiliar with how to do this.
The simplest fix for me lately has been to remove the LibraryCatalogue folder by renaming it rather than deleting it so that you can restore it if need be. This causes a re-indexing to occur which for me solves the problem if it recurs.

Sorry. More details:
I am using version 4.6a SR-5
on a Windows 7 Porfessional system
We need the Logos4indexer.log because the Indexer crashed + associated crash/error logs. Note: provide the indexer log after a crash and before you restart Logos 4.

Is this what is needed? Value your help.

Best I can tell, one of the reverse interlinear resources on your system appears to be corrupted in some way. Unfortunately, the crash file doesn't provide a clue as to which one.
One fix may be to delete all *.lbsrvi files in C:\Users\richardb\AppData\Local\Logos4\Data\ltdp0m2m.woz\ResourceManager\Downloaded and in the "ScannedResources" folder (if it exists).
If this stops the crash, you can enter "update resources" into the command box at the top of the program to force the missing resources to be downloaded.
Couldn't find the files you referred to in C:\Users\richardb\AppData\Local\Logos4\Data\ltdp0m2m.woz\ResourceManager\Downloaded neither could I find a scanned resources folder. They are just not there.
Attaching my latest log files below. I do value any help in this if you are able. Thanks. Richard

Richard, as I said above we need the LogosIndexer.log from just after a crash. Please read http://wiki.logos.com/Diagnostic_Logging to enable the logging that will provide this file (or start Logos with the CTRL key held down).

I trust this is what you are after.
Thanks again.
Thank you. It appears the resource you need to delete isC:\Users\richardb\AppData\Local\Logos4\Data\ltdp0m2m.woz\ResourceManager\Resources\LXXHEB.lbsrvi
If this stops the crash, enter "Update Resources" into the command box at the top of the program and the missing resources should be downloaded.
Thanks for your input Dave. I have duly deleted the LXXHEB.lbsrvi resource as advised
On starting up I was hopeful because it started to download once again 1.09 GB of updates. When the downloads were all
over and on restarting Logos there was nothing once again. No new resources, no Timelines etc.
I have no idea where to go from here.
Logs, logs, ...Indexer logs / error logs from last run
Attaching logs... logs ... logs!

Trust that gives us the lates picture.
Thanks
Sorry this is so slow, but this time delete C:\Users\richardb\AppData\Local\Logos4\Data\ltdp0m2m.woz\ResourceManager\Resources\LEBNT.lbsrvi and restart Logos as before. If it still crashes then delete all *.lbsrvi files in \Resources EXCEPT AV1873NT, AV1873OT, ESVNT, ESVOT, KJV1900OT, LAKEAF & LXXHEB. Keep the logs coming if it still crashes.
Phew! I am finally up and running.
I had to delete the second lot of files as well and it immediately began to index everything.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for hanging in there with me.
You have no idea of how appreciative I am.
Blessings,
I'm very glad it is sorted for you.
