(At this rate, I'll get a star in about 22 years!)
Congrats Doc. [:)]
Logos invites community users to be MVP's, who typically have Many Volunteer Posts, which helped other users.
User has option to accept Logos invitation, which adds a star under avatar, OR decline, as some have done. Some have voluntarily asked for MVP star to be removed.
Note: if average 10 posts per day, then forum count would increase 3,650 annually.

I'm no MVP; I'm still askin' most of the questions. But I do try to help when I see a question I've had answered in the past.
Peace to you, Doc! *smile* .... and .......... Always Joy in the Lord!
Let me, share, please, a couple of things ..... 1. I've often appreciated some of the "flashes" of great humour I've seen in some of your past posts.......
2. I truly appreciate your "plunging in" as a "helper" !!!!
I'm a recently-appointed MVP; and I must confess that I am sometimes overwhelmed by the amount of posts that come down the tube! My tasks that I've taken on as MVP are considerably more than I imagined they would be when I said "yes" to the invitation. Of course, I remain honoured and appreciative of the invitation to be one of the Logos MVP's.
I've come to the conclusion, however, that I'm actually spending too much personal time on the Forums, robbing my life and my family and my many other pursuits of some of the time I should be focusing in on there. Frankly, I'm not sure how I'm going to be able to "reset my priorities," so I'll be talking fervently to our Gracious God about it asking for help and guidance personally in this area.
Therefore, Doc, I rejoice indeed when someone like you comes along and "grabs hold"! Thank you very much, indeed!
(Chrysostom’s reported last words) ... Δόξα τῳ̂ θεῳ̂ πάντων ἕνεκεν!

+1 [Y] Praying for guidance and direction. Personally have peace to continue as a forum MVP; albeit anticipating bit less involvement on various days. Thankful for MVP invitation on 14 Mar 2011, with a reply of yes (honored and humbled). Thankful for many friendly forum discussions about using Logos Bible Software: have learned a lot plus have a lot to learn. Some forum users post a lot on a consistent basis; others are more sporadic.
Personally learning Hebrew so can create a number of Logos Hebrew Morphology visual filters, possibly some in time for Camp Logos on 8-9 Apr 2013. Thankful for Logos resource => http://www.logos.com/product/3438/learning-biblical-hebrew-a-new-approach-using-discourse-analysis that is included in a number of Logos 5 packages.

Please do not burn out! Share the load. There are 29 MVPs. We understand the time you put in and we appreciate your advise.
