Question

Has anyone been discouraged with how limited Logos for Mac is? I purchased the top of the line one, but because I used to use E-Sword I have found it very slow for going through the results.

I now am using an online bible study program. It's easier to navigate. When you preach at least two times a week it becomes necessary to be able to move quickly.

Any suggestions?

You might try posting your question on one of the Mac Forums. I believe you will get a better (i.e., more complete) response there. Also, as Robert noted, please provide the particular version of Logos Mac you are using.

1.2.2 was/is incomplete, and has been largely replaced by L4. However, Logos 4 for the Mac is still in Alpha stage. That means it is suitable for testing, not for serious Bible Study. At the present time, to really see the benefits of Logos 4 on your Mac, you would need to run Windows under a virtual machine using either Parallels or Fusion. Bob P has promised feature parity between the Mac and Windows versions, but that is still a few months away. Logos is working diligently to make this happen.

Post your question on one of the Mac forums. You will find plenty of help, sympathy, complaints, weeping and gnashing of teeth there. [8-|]
