How do I link information in my presentations to sources (that are within Logos) that I have used?
You can get a hyperlink to a location in a Logos resource by clicking on the book cover icon in the upper left corner of the resource to drop down the panel menu, then choose Copy Location as URL. Alternatively, you can press Ctrl+Alt+C (or whatever the Mac equivalent would be; probably Cmd+Option+C, I'm guessing). That will copy the URL to the clipboard, then you can paste it into your presentation. When you click on that link, it will bring up Logos and open that resource to the location you were at when you copied the location URL.
Rosie, THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Here is another question, I guess I should work on this myself, but time is against me. How can I put the url linked into just a letter or number, "a" or "1" rather than have the whole url on the presentation page?
Depends on what software you're using for the presentation. I know that in PowerPoint, you can type the text that you want for the link (e.g., the "a" or "1" you described above), then select that text, press Ctrl+K, and then paste in the URL and click OK. I'm not sure what it would be for other presentation software, but look in the Help for link or hyperlink or Google it and you should be able to find out how to do it.
Thanks, Rose; I can do it in PPT, I will try to work on it after the presentation today. I am doing the presentations through Logos tonight, hooking up to my LCD...Thanks again.
Where are you trying to paste the link in Logos? In a Notes file? If so, you can make the URL hidden almost identically to how you do it in PPT or Word or whatever: Type in the text you want for your link into the Note, then select that text, click the hyperlink icon at the top of the Notes window (or press Ctrl+K), paste in the URL, then for some reason you have to hit Escape (or click somewhere else in the app) rather than pressing Enter. Enter does nothing. That might be a bug or odd design decision.
