Android Suite 2.2.10 Beta Release

The Android team is pleased to announce a new 2.2.10 beta release of the Bible, Biblia, FSB, Verbum and Vyrso apps.

Following a short beta window 2.2.10 will replace the 2.2.8 apps currently available in Google Play and Amazon.

If you installed the app via the download link you can upgrade to the latest beta by clicking on the download link listed below, download the apk to your device and upgrading your existing app. If you want to receive an automatic notification when a new beta is available click on the gear icon, selecting the “about” option then change the Update Channel option from “stable” to “beta” (no quotes). Note: This Update Channel option only appears on the About page if you installed the app via our download link.

If you discover any issues please create a new post and include the following info:
  Description – How were you using the app when the problem occurred.
  App Info – Which app you are using. (Bible, Biblia, Faithlife Study Bible, Vyrso)
  Device Info – (Nexus 7, Motorola Triumph, Droid Bionic)
  Android Version – (2.2, 2.3, 3.x, 4.0, 4.1)

Download

New

  • Status/progress bar for Library updates and resource downloads
  • “Download All” limit increased from 50 to 100

Improved

  • Failed Library updates retry when network connection is regained
  • Book Info dialog shows info messages for resources which cannot be downloaded/removed
  • Book Info dialog shows “Update” button for out-of-date resources
  • Book Info dialog shows confirmation prompt when removing resources

Fixed

  • Bug causing verse previews to not appear for Louis Segundo Bible and some other bibles
  • Potential bug causing resources to be missing from library
  • Crash when returning to the Search page
  • Removed extraneous Grid view from Verbum home page

Known issues

  • Notes are not fully editable
  • Highlights styles do not display properly in “normal” color scheme in CyanogenMod 9 and below

    Thank you SO MUCH for increasing the download limit!  Thanks also for looking at Cyanogenmod issues even though you don't officially support custom roms.  The Android app is so useful these days!

    Living in the Android Tablet world, these updates are very important to me. Well done; thank you.   I look forward to future beta's and assisting with their development. I really hope the Note's area is on your short list.  Also, I would love the option to have the Visual Filters available on my tablet.
