Logos 4 Workspace Questions

Hello,

In Logos 3 I could save Workspaces and have my preferred study tools all magically be on my Logos "desktop" when I started the program and their states would be saved when I closed the program.

Am I missing the Workspace feature in version 4 of Logos? Or is IT missing in Logos 4? I ask because I have Logos 4 installed, but I have not yet received my DVD and do not know if my feature set will change with the installation of the DVD.

Right now if I want to have my preferred materials opened I have to go on a hunting expedition to get them all set up.

Mike,

I'm still a L4 novice but I have saved some "workspaces" in my Layouts. You can name these and call them back up later. Hope this is the beginning of some help for you.

Hi Mike,

Two options:

1. Go to the home page and remove the check for show homepage at start up. When you close Logos 4 and then open it again it will start exactly where you left off.

2. Save your layout before you leave or open the layouts section of Logos 4 to go back in time to previous layouts. I recommend you go to http://www.logos.com/videos and check out the one on layouts... take 30 minutes and view all of them for a great overview of Logos 4.

Thank you for pointing out the Layouts feature. After I read your reply I opened up all of the drop-down menus several times and was wondering where my Layouts menu item was - then I looked waaaaay over to the right side of the screen and I see Layouts. Thanks for letting me know that there was a Layouts feature. I'll go play with it now and see if I can figure it out.

I wonder why Logos decided to park the Layouts menu item waaaaay over there instead of in one of the other menus on the left side of the screen. Thanks to you I can now use it. [:)]
