Search for word מָלַךְ with specific pointing

I would like to search for a word with specific pointing, such as מָלַךְ. Henderson (The Book of the Prophet Isaiah, 2nd edition, 1857, p. 275), when speaking about "king shall reign" in Isaiah 32:1 suggests that it has a parallel in the expression: מָלַךְ מֶלֶךְ. It is hard to see the pointing in this small type (it is malach melech). At any rate, if I do not want to see all of the instances of מלך or of מלך מלך but only of my specific pointing, מָלַךְ or מָלַךְ מֶלֶךְ how do I go about doing such a search?

One option is highlighting words, right click, choose selection, then search this resource. Did two variations: one time included yod, another time did not.

Also changed yod to an asterisk for a slow wild card search, which found one more result.

For grins, also did a morph search looking for a verb before a noun, which found couple more results.

I did a morph search using the search string lemma:מלך.1@VaP3MS BEFORE 1 WORD lemma:מֶ֫לֶךְ.1@NC. It was necessary to specify that the verb was qal 3 m s and that there it preceeded the noun מֶלֶך by 1 word to meet your stated search requirement. I note that only Jer 23.5 seems to meet that requirement. The passage you cited did not appear since the verb is joined to the noun by a maqqeph (מָלַך־מֶלֶך).

The reason Is 32.1 isn't showing up in George's search is because the verb is imperfect in that verse. Maqqef doesn't goof up proximity searches like that.

There is no current UI for doing vowel sensitive searching on surface forms in Bible Search or Morph Search (lemma searches are, however, vowel sensitive) - which I'd imagine is why George is using morph codes to specify the form. You can do vowel sensitive searches in the syntax search interface by putting the surface form in the 'text' field of a segment and making sure 'match marks' is checked. But this can be rather cumbersome when you want to find word forms that have prefixes and suffixes attached, since those are generally separate 'segments', so hopefully we'll get some UI for doing this sort of thing in the Morph, Bible and Basic search panels someday.

Yikes, you're correct. I hadn't bothered to REALLY look at the passage but assumed that what the OP posted was what was in the text. Well, you know what they say assuming does! [:$]

George, Vincent, Keep Smiling, many thanks for the great help! First of all, George, this is precisely what I needed to find: Jeremiah 23:5. So, I really need a primer on morph searches that gives additional examples than those offered in the wiki help page Keep Smiling offered. I had spent quite a few unsuccessful hours on this project and you George, found it immediately. I notice that the search string is unforgiving, as I tried several others without the success you had. Many thanks, again. (I have been trying to post this thanks for several days but with no success. There may have been a problem with some of the forums.) By the way, since then I found that I can do my searches much more simply in Hebrew without any lemmas, by putting the Hebrew words either in quotes for exact wording, or not in quotes for no particular sequence in the verse, from a program from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (CD-ROM Resource Edition 1.1). A few years ago it was on sale for $6, but I don’t know if it is available any longer. Of course, for really fancy searches, I will need to learn how to use Logos.
