I have created a number of personal books and other documents that I would like to share with members of an online community. In another thread dropbox, evernote, google drive, etc. are mentioned. What service do you recommend for storing and sharing files?

Because they all do the same thing, I would suggest asking the people who you want to share these items if they use any of the services. I use box.net because they offer 50 gig for free.

They do? I'd sign up right away, but all I see is that their website advertises 5GB only as free. Am I missing something?

I am a bit off topic but be sure the files you share are your own creation, public domain or permission granted to share.

A while back theyran a "special" that included the 50 Gigs. However I found the site and software much harder to manipulate than for example "Drop Box" so deleted it.

I found Microsoft SkyDrive the best for Windows users. They offer 7 GB free, plus some less than $10 for another 20 GB. Very well integrated with Windows 8, Windows Phone etc.

One thing we need to take into account is the security of our data on any of the servers before we decide to sync our stuff to them. That's why I would even be willing to pay to Logos if they provide the service in connection to syncing of our PB resources. Of course their price would have to be very attractive in comparing to SkyDrive, DropBox etc. [:)]
