I could be wrong, but I think that you need to have the font on your system….in win7 click the win Icon, type: ’character map’ in the text box, enter, use the drop down and look for the font…….

Just a thought…

I suspect that it's rather the Pages application that has a problem with the font. Marcus said he can copy from Logos and wants to paste into Pages. I'd understand that Logos displays correctly then - otherwise what to copy? Maybe a Mac user could chime in with whether another feature (such as Copy Bible Verse tool) brings better results.

But maybe Pages just can't work with Right To Left text - what I saw from those all-too often threads in the mac forum, it seems the software Mellel is the word processor of choice for those who need to process Hebrew, thus I'd bet it's better suited for Syriac as well.

Just found out that Logos has a list of sources for fonts at http://www.logos.com/shibboleth
