Cannot move panels in Logos 5

Hi,

Ive used logos 5 for years. I was helping a student and he cannot move any panels. I click a panels tab and drag it to move it (where you would normally see a shadow/backdrop) and drop the panel, I see a zero with an angeled line through it. As if I could not drop the panel there, but I am dropping it in open space. Weird? No I don't have screen shots and yes I tried rebooting the program. Help plz

I am at a loss on this one. I have never seen that problem in any version (windows) of the software. When you drag a tab to an area of the screen you desire to place it in, you should see that area become shaded and when you release the mouse the panel replaces the shaded area.

The only way I can duplicate what you are describing is if I try to move a tab on my main screen to my secondary monitor. In order to do that, you must float that tab first and then drag the floating pane to the second screen.

Are you trying to drag the tab to a secondary display monitor?
