Is it recommended to download the 5 gb file of Logos 5 to a Macbook pro that has 8 gb of memory?
FWIW - I have a "MacBook Pro" running "Logos 5 Gold" (plus L4 Platinum package & other resources) with 8 GB of ram. [:)]
Mac OS X version 10.7.4 Model: MacBookPro9,1 Processor: 2.6 Ghz Intel Core i7 Memory: 8GB 1600 MHz DDR3 Software: Mac OS X lion
That's plenty of power. To know your real storage drive, follow these steps:
1) click on the apple logo
2) click "about this mac"
3) click "more info"
4) click storage
You should then find on top of the bar, how much storage memory you have.
Best,
Ram
Thanks for the help Ram! I am new to Macs and Logos...

Kendall - I concur with Ram. The only thing left to know is how much storage space you have. Since your computer is newer, you probably are fine unless you have a lot of video on your computer. A "typical" user would have enough space. FWIW - My HD has 250GB of storage, and I am half full. My laptop is <almost> out of warranty, and I may upgrade the HD at that time.

Hi Dan mine runs out in May, I have a 128 SSD, I have heard there is a twin drive SSD with a normal drive, it keeps the main info on the SSD drive and only calls the other drive into action when needed -- I like the speed, so I might upgrade to 256 SSD.
The cost of furthering of the Apple Care more than outways the cost of the extra speed, that is if all goes well.
