Hello All,
I haven't really used logos in a long long time and today I finally sat down and started to use it. I came across the following in TWOT.
910d תּוֹרָה (tôrâ) law.
The basic idea of the root yārâ is “to throw” or “to cast” with the strong sense of control by the subject. Lots were cast in regards to dividing the land among the various tribes (Josh 18:6). God cast the Egyptian army into the Red Sea (Ex 15:4; cf. Job 30:19). With stones it has the idea of placing them in a certain place; God laid the cornerstone of the world (Job 38:6) and Laban set up a heap of stones and a pillar as a witness between Jacob and himself to their covenant of peace (Gen 31:51f.). The three most frequent uses of this root deal with shooting arrows, sending rain and teaching.
So I decided to try to find the root dealing with shooting arrows, rain, and teaching and I quickly became confused and frustrated by all of the tools within logos. (Clause Search) After an hour of frustration I threw up my hands and gave up! (Think I'm getting old?) After calming down I decided to embarrass myself and ask for HELP!
What is the best way to do this in L5?
Why can I only do clause searches on LHB and SBLGNT?
What tutorial videos would you recommend to watch for L5?
I used to feel fairly comfortable in L4 but I am feeling a little flustered with L5. I think I am just losing focus and need to reorient!
Thanks and Blessings
Nathan
