TOOLBAR
ISSUES
- Command box should activate the on-screen keyboard for undocked touch devices or on detecting touch input. Prefer if programmatically activating the on-screen keyboard it should also be programmatically closed when a command is entered or if focus leaves the command box.
SUGGESTIONS
- ??? Accept swipe left/right gestures in the custom toolbar when there are too many items to display. Prefer the scroll buttons stay for indicators, but they are difficult to hit reliably as the sole means of navigation by touch. Alternative: on launch, detect if running on an touch device and change the toolbar to a drop-down list or popup.
MENUS
ISSUES
- When on-screen keyboard is active the application window resizes to fit the smaller available space but the menus do not resize, leaving the menu partially hidden behind the on-screen keyboard.
- Documents and Guides menus both have filter text boxes that don't activate the on-screen keyboard for undocked touch devices. Prefer if programmatically activating the on-screen keyboard it should also be programmatically closed when a menu item is chosen or the menu is dismissed by the user.
