Please Help, New to Mac

I just recently upgraded from Logos 3 to Logos 4 on my PC, and shortly afterward got my first mac. I was able to to install Logos 1 for mac with no trouble, but I'm having trouble downloading and installing the Logos 4 Alpha for mac. I've downloaded the alpha for mac version from the logos website and copied it into my applications folder. However when I try to run it a window pops up that says that it is not "supported on this architecture." This is my first mac and I've only had it about a week so I'm probably just ignorant on how to work this thing. Can someone help?

do you have a PowerPC or Intel?

are you sure this is a new Mac sounds like a second hand unit thats a few years old at least and is PPC or power PC architecture chip (IBM) rather than an Intel Chip Arcitecture which all new Macs have used for a number of years

I believe Logos 4 for Mac only runs on an Intel Mac System rather than the older PPC (Power PC IBM) system

This is a second hand mac, so i'm guessing it is not intel. Didn't realize Logos 4 was only for intel based macs. Thanks for helping clarify.

I just did a search of the Mac info, and could not find where it even warns that PPC is not supported. So it would seem Logos needs to do a better job of posting that info.
