Logos has given away some great books recently.

Of course, one man's treasure is another man's trash. However, to me the recent free G. Campbell Morgan, Charles Spurgeon, and John Piper books are treasures. And they were not in my library of some 5,000 plus Logos Resources.

So I want to say, "Thank you, Logos, for the quality books!" I have greatly benefited from both Spurgeon and Morgan over the years. And I have come to appreciate John Piper's work.

(By the way, I am sure all the Martyn Lloyd-Jones fans know that G. Campbell Morgan was Lloyd-Jones predecessor at Westminster Chapel, and Lloyd-Jones was G. Campbell Morgan's associate there before he became lead pastor in 1943 upon Morgan's retirement.)

I did know that. It might be helpful for Southern Baptists to think about as they discuss at this year's annual meeting whether Calvinists and others can work together inside the SBC. And so I don't don't get flagged as unrelated or inappropriate, let me ask, "Does anyone know of some good Logos books that address this issue?"

I don't have a dog in that fight, but I would think that Calvin's views on Baptism would be welcome in the SBC.

Could work if the Calvinists are predestined to work with non-Calvinists while the others freely choose to work with Calvinists (as a former IFB now a member of an SBC Church) [:D]

I don't have a dog in that fight, but I would think that Calvin's views on Baptism would be welcome in the SBC.

Don't believe the disagreement revolves around baptism. Most likely disagreement about election.

We were offered 3 graduate credit hours free if we go to the annual meeting, but I'm skipping this year. The same offer applies next year, and the year after.

Seems like it would have been an interesting year to go though. Calvinism is all throughout the BF&M if you look for it.
