By default, my Notes usually sort by date added. I almost always want them to sort by Reference. Though I can resort them over and over, it would be a lot easier if they sorted by Reference by default. Any ideas about how to change the default?
Welcome to the forums Steve! [:)]
Are you asking about changing the default of a newly created note file, or changing the behavior of an already existing one? I think that my bible note file does sort by reference, and this preference is "sticky." I'm not near my computer to check.
Changing the behavior of an existing one. Sometimes it seems like it is placing the notes according to reference, but at other times it puts the most recent entries at the very end.
I don't know if this will work, but you can try clicking on an empty space at the top of the note file (somewhere between the buttons and other settings), and then sort the way you want and see if that 'sticks'.
Thanks, I think this works for Logos for Mac.
I've realized that the problem is that my iPad does not default to the same defaults of Logos for Mac, and puts the notes at the end of the list instead of according to reference. So far as I can tell, the settings for the iPad are not specific enough to allow you to tell how you want it to order notes.
