I know this was mentioned in the android forum, but I only discovered it today and I know some of you Win8 tablet users our there will appreciate this option - I know I do. There is an android emulator called BlueStacks (www.bluestacks.com) which runs the Android version of the Logos app perfectly well. I installed the Win8 Version optimized for Surface Pro on my Asus Taichi running Win 8 Pro and it works like a charm. I must say the Android team has made great strides in the several months since I tried it last. It looks essentially identical at this point to the iPad app.
It's slightly sluggish running in the BlueStacks emulator, but not too bad. At least it gives me a touch friendly app I can run on my win8 convertible tablet/laptop that gives me convenient access to my reading plans and other features not in the Win8 native app yet.
The main catch is that I'm certain BlueStacks only runs on the full Win8 tables (Intel Processors). Windows RT users are out of luck there.
Good luck!
