Interesting study done by Barna on digital reading

Here is one quote that expresses some of the research - "One in four Christians use an e-reader or mobile tablet for reading purposes. In fact, e-reading is even more expansive among pastors. From 2010 to 2012 alone, pastors’ use of e-readers has tripled from 14% to 44%, respectively. And this trend is only growing."

So, if this trend continues, good things could be in store for Logos as a company and, in turn, all of us Logos users.

I'm not surprised, I pretty much read on my iPad. I even check out ebooks from the library instead of paper books. Don't have to remember to return the book, no fines. If its a Kindle book all my notes and highlights are still available if I check the book out or buy it.

That is cool. I didn't realize that about Kindle books. I only wish it would link with Logos notes.

I don't know if you realize this, but check with your local library they might have ebooks available for check-out. I know we can in the U.S., not sure about Canada.

Blessings, Philana! Yes, they do; and they even loan out the reading devices. *smile* I actually haven't been to one of our libraries now for over a year.... Really should go and wander around one of them soon ... Have so much to read through Logos; and my wife is a "book person" (hardcover!) who's always sharing with me some of the New York Times top 10 books.

We have Costco in this part of Canada and a great source of current books at great prices ............ *smile*
