Disable automatic indexing option?
This might be answered somewhere but, I'm not finding it. Is there a way to disable L4's auto indexing function. I do a fair amount of audio work that needs the whole computer as much as possible, and to have Logos decide it's time to index when I power up the computer is a bit of a pain, and since there is only a "pause for 4 hours" function - I have to make sure that I interrupt that again if my recording session goes longer.
Is there a way to remove that from the "start-up" or at least make it optional - I understand the need for the indexing to happen after updates and addition of resources, but I'd like to choose when that happens and not have it start when I boot up the computer.

A "Shift-Command-Click" on the indexer icon brings up the option to cancel all tasks.

how would someone know that keyboard command without asking for it in a forum? Is there any list somewhere of keyboard commands, tips, and tricks that the average user would know nothing about without reading the forums all the time?
If there is not such a document, there should be and it should be easily found by the average user so that we can actually take advantage of such tricks. Will things like this be put in the help menu once that feature shows up?

Anyone knows how to do this in Logos 5? I am on Windows so I have tried all combinations of Shift, Alt, Windows, Control and Click.
In my humble opinion, the auto index should be configurable to run either during a specific time or when the machine is idle, a la Windows Index. As it is, it brings my entire fast machine to its knees.

Did you try combinations with right-click? I don't have the indexer running right now (and don't want to force a complete reindex just to test this out). I know that you can right-click on the icon and pause indexing for 4 hours, but I was never aware of a way to cancel it completely (until the next reboot of the machine or until you manually restart it).

The simple solution is to not do the download until you have time to index. Or do the download, but wait with clicking the Install button.

In Windows, If you right-click on the tray icon, you can choose to delay indexing for 4 hours.
You will want Logos to index your resources eventually, and as soon as is convenient. Depending on the size of your library and the amount of resources that need to be indexed, you may be able to finish indexing over a lunch break, or another time when you are away from your computer. It would almost certainly finish overnight (if your computer didn't slip into sleep mode).

+1 [Y] for program setting. Found a LDLS4.Indexer:<random> entry in registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce
Exported entry, then removed entry from the registry so Logos Indexer does not launch run during user login. RunOnce implies an item that runs once and removes itself.
