Hi.
I am trying to use reading plans but I cannot see the 'start / end' markers in the text ... at least not always.
If I open a resource from the home page, then I am taken to page 100 (or whatever) and the markers are there as expected.
If the resource is already open, and I do not use the home page to 'access' it then I can see no markers!!!
Now the answer should therefore be ... always access them from the home page ... except that there are a couple of issues with where the link actually takes you ... which is where my problems lie ...
- If, for example, today's reading is pages 100-120, and I was already on page 115, the link will take me to page 100 and I have to find where I was. This is irritating but OK ... I would have expected that if the last viewed page of the resource is within the reading range then it should go there rather than blindly to the start of the day's reading.
- More seriously, If I have read the next few days already, and they are marked as read on my desktop app, the home page still seems to take me to today's reading, regardless of the fact that it has been marked as read ... I now have 30+ pages to wade through to see where I was. I would have expected the homepage to take me to the first section in the reading list that has not been marked as read, (and , as per 1, part way along that section if that is what was last viewed).
I am using the latest iPad app and the latest L5Mac beta (although I do not believe this to be a beta issue, hence I am posting in this forum).
Am I missing something obvious ... or quite possible mis-reading what is happening? How do I always ensure that the markers are visible?
Thanks.
