I agree completely. This collection seems to be stuck in the mud. Perhaps we should raise our bids, although we also just flat-out need more bidders. But this collection would be amazing to have in Logos.
I agree. I got in first thing, and uncharacteristically, raised my bid last month to $50.
I agree also. My bid is at $50. This one used to be closer to completion until they added several more resources to it.
I've been in at $60 since it was a smaller collection. There are many I can do without but the first five plus the Bishop's Bible are well worth having as historically important translations.
I was in for $30 until I raised my bid June 11th to $60.
It's been stuck for a long time. We need more people to raise their bids.
I raised my bid to $50, but this collection still needs some serious help if it is ever going to make it into development.
I wondered about that... I thought it was further along. It would be nice if they limited it to the first 5-6 translations listed. These are the ones I am interested in...
I raised my bid to $50.00 as well, hopefully we see it rise soon
Does anybody else @$30 want to raise their bid?
Consider that 27 Bibles are worth at least $2 a piece. Maybe even $3.
Please increase your bid.[C]
I bid on this collection as soon as it became available - and just now raised my bid to $60 to reflect the increased the size of the collection.
The progress chart (after a ~ year) looks pathetic, even after an appearance in the Logos Blog in June.
I suggest that Logos send an email to all bidders of this collection advising/reminding that the collection has been enlarged since originally introduced, and asking each person to consider revising their bid to reflect the new circumstances (and likelihood of production).
This is a good suggestion and I would suggest it be the standard practice if something in a collection gets changed after someone has placed their bid but that may be difficult to manage.
