I discovered something very irritating today. It seems that several books that were complete, published, and available for purchase and download have been removed from Vyrso and pulled into Logos prepub packages. In the following collection, Global Missions Collection (
http://www.logos.com/product/33561/global-missions-collection), at least five of these twenty books were already published on Vyrso and available for a very reasonable price.
This seems to me like a money-making scheme and a misuse of prepub sales. As I understand it, prepub and community pricing are designed to bring in the finances to publish previously unpublished books for the benefit of both the buyer and the company. Now, books that could have been purchased individually for $8-$20 are now removed and locked into a collection for $270 ($385 after prepub ends!) and advertised as a great deal.
This is an unfortunate trend I would like to see reversed.
