So, if a program is closed while full-screen in Mt. Lion, it's supposed to open full-screen, in its own space. 5.1a (nor any of the past builds, AFAIK) have done this.
As I always use it in full-screen, I would really like this to get fixed.

A number of my apps, including ones from Apple, do not function that way. I agree, however, that the behavior you described is desirable.
