Does Anyone Else Crash When Shutting Down?

I have noticed that Logos often crashes when I shut down. It is not every time, but it is pretty consistently. I am using a Mac and am very mobile. I travel between different network connections quite frequently. I usually leave Logos open. I have a suspicion that Logos crashes on shutdown during synchronization, and it doesn't like the different networks. Has anyone else had a similar issue? Has anyone had the Mac version of Logos 5 crash consistently on shutdown?

We need more information: What Mac OS? Which version of L5? Do you get an Apple Dialog requesting a Crash Report? Does Logos quit or freeze?

Latest Mac OS and Logos version. There is an Apple Dialog requesting a crash report. Logos just quits. I haven't had logging on so there are no logs recording these events. I was just wondering if anyone else had a consistent problem with shutting down. Especially those who use many different network "hotspots."

Would that be OS 10.8.4 and Logos 5.1a SR-1?

There is an Apple Dialog requesting a crash report. Logos just quits.

There have been similar problems in the past, but have not had any since sometime in the 5.1a Beta program.

I haven't had logging on so there are no logs recording these events.

Are you still having the crashes? If so, you must enable logging and submit the logs for anyone to provide assistance.

I can enable logging, but I still would like feedback if others are experiencing a similar problem or problems when going between different wireless hotspots.

I have posted another thread that outlines a test I performed with logging enabled, and I was able to get Logos to hand/crash on shutdown. The test involved changing my wireless network a couple of times simulating me working from home, then Starbucks, then home again. I also attached my logs, so if you get a chance, I would appreciate you looking at them. Thanks!

That is good Dave. Unfortunately, my log reading skills are minimal, but I will make sure that someone well versed in logese does read them.

UPDATE: Noted that Dave Hooton has responded to your new thread. There is no one—outside of a Logos programmer—better equipped to help you. Just follow his suggestions, and he will either find the solution, or the information needed to alert Logos to the necessary fix.
