I thought I'd finally gotten used to the blue bar, then just saw this and did a double-take.  A gold star if you spot what's wrong with this picture (besides the fact that I'm using the anathematized interlinear):

I have noticed this bug before too, but hadn't gotten around to reporting it. There are two blue bars. Which one is the active tab? Impossible to tell.

Apologies if this has already been suggested; I haven't read the entire thread. But have you tried the sonar command: press Left-Ctrl + Right-Alt + Right Shift + Home while you sing the chorus to Yellow Submarine three times.

You might have to practice a few times to get it just right.

Mary-Ellen, have you been able to figure out a way to reliably reproduce that double blue bar scenario? I'm trying and can't get it to happen at will.

I did see this, though: no blue bar on the active tab (only on its panel menu), which is also a bug. [I believe it happened after I'd clicked on the yellow exclamation icon and the focus was lost from the active tab when I clicked to download new resources. But I now can't test it to see if it happens again because the resources have downloaded and the yellow icon now is telling me I need to restart Logos, which won't reproduce the problem.]

After getting into that state, when I then clicked on the left panel, the blue bar came back again on the formerly active tab, and the left side tab became active with its blue bar, so there are two.

The question is, how to reproduce the first scenario, since I think that the next step from there is a guaranteed reproduction of the double bar scenario.

I would like to be able to start a new thread to report this to Logos.

I'll keep an eye out to see if it happens again.  I wish I could remember the sequence of yesterday's downloads in relation to my two blue bars.  I had mentally associated the two bars with popping tabs out into floating windows, but I also got the resource update and SR-2 yesterday.

We are aware of the multiple blue bar problem. Most of the causes of this problem will be fixed in an upcoming beta.

That's great to hear. Thanks for posting and saving me the time of trying to track down a reproducible case.

Well... admitting this makes me feel like a twit, but I had never noticed the blue bar over the active tab.  [:|]

So for those of you who have struggled to identify the active tab even while knowing about the blue bar, imagine trying to peg it if you didn't.  I'm just glad I stumbled across this thread.  [:D]

Even before I noticed the bar I never struggled to identify the active tab—I simply clicked on the one I wanted to be active and it immediately became active even if it wasn't previously.  Problem solved.
