When seeking to select another bible translation, I noticed in the popdown menu that the NKJV and HCSB icons are about 50% of the others. Maybe this has been this way for a while and I haven't noticed it, but I thought I would flag it on here to see if it is normal or a bug.

Followed email instructions so some more icons are small:
Within 10 seconds, the pop-up is replaced by "No Parallel Resources" so took several times clicking on parallel button in ESV before screen shot captured. A bit later noticed TNIV icon size change. Likewise noticed small icon for Douay-Rheims Bible, which is near the bottom of the "All parallel resoures" list; took many attempts to scroll down since pop-up quickly disappeared.
The initial parallel display had a small icon for Amplified Bible. Looking in Logos4.log file, noticed many metadata updates being downloaded:
After a batch of metadata updates, the Library Catalog index is replaced, which could explain the parallel pop-up disappearing.
Edit: after Library Catalog indexing completed, the original four small icons remained:

Does this only happen in the parallel resources pane, or is the behavior consistent in other areas like the Library panel as well?

After inadvertently updating Logos 4.6a to Logos 5.0a in one OS X user account, am rebuilding most Logos SQLite database files, except Users and License Manager. After indexing is complete, plan to check other areas using Logos 4.6a SR-3.

Appears to be confined to parallel resources:
After 25 hours to complete indexing, restarted Logos 4.6a SR-3, which is still updating MetaData and rebuilding Catalog Index. Edit: noticed a number of icon sizes changed after more metadata updates.
Noted Logos4.log file has a number of cover image messages similar to:

For Logos 5.0a, kept two database files: Users and License Manager in Logos 4 folder. Opened to work offline, which had a blank Home Page since the Library had no resources. Entered scan command with path of Logos4 Data that had been copied. Restarted Logos 5.0a on OS X 10.8.2 and found more tiny icons for a number of resources in parallel resources (Bible Index being created):

This will be fixed in 5.0b Beta 2 for 5.0 beta testers, and in general for 5.0 users when 5.0b ships to the stable channel.

Just to clarify, I am running Logos 5.1 SR3 on a Mac (10.7.5).

Using Logos 5.1a Release Candidate 1 on OS X 10.8.4 was able to replicate small icon for a New Tab (Commentary) in 2 Samuel:
Found another Pulpit Commentary resource shows a small icon for a New Tab.

I'm not able to reproduce this issue in 5.1b Beta 1. Could you please let me know if you are still seeing this issue once you have updated to 5.1b? Thanks!

There are some changes being made to the New Tab Panel in 5.2 which should fix this issue. (I'm not yet sure which beta those will appear in.)
Please let us know if you continue to see this issue once you have updated to a build with those changes.
