Apart from the space that the resources take from the hard drive how much space does the indexing takes from your computer?
My 1130 resources take 9.8 GB and create 3.3 GB of indexes.
Thank You Dave, the concern that I have is that I found two files related with indexes with 6 GB and a third with 1 GB and I was wondering if the computer has kept a previous file or not (I use a Macbook Air and I am really concern with the hard drive space) I am trying to clean the computer of repeated files. Any suggestions?
7,000+ resources
Resources = 24 GB
Library index = 7 GB
Bible index = 1.3 GB
So indexing takes a little over 8 GB
The entire Data folder takes 36.25 GB

What are the names of those files? Gurus here may be able to tell you if the files could be safely deleted.

It might also be useful if you could supply the Finder's path to these files.
For instance, my LibraryIndex folder it located at /Users/jackcav/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Data/ai630slj.1g0

For clarification: Logos 5 Mac uses a "Logos 4" directory, even with a fresh, clean install.
6GB for me (1.2GB bible index + 4.8GB library index).
That's for 5369 files in the Resources folder using 16.4GB.
My Logos 5 folder and subfolders total 24GB, and I must say it's a very good use of 24GB of SSD space. :-)
So, it seems like it's about 1/3 of library size...

You won't have a duplicate installation after upgrading Logos 4 to Logos 5. Within the .../Logos5/Data folder (or logos4/Data) there are folders for BibleIndex, LibraryIndex and PersonalBookIndex (if you have personal books). All these are needed. What are the locations of the files you found?
9886 Resources = 32.36 GBLibrary Index = 10.66 GBBible Index = 2.05 GB
