SUGGESTION: Run Logos with "bare-bones" option

There have been a lot of posts complaining about the indexing, and Logos has been known as the slowest software for a long time. Since I order free Vyrso books almost every day, almost every time I open Logos, I have to restart and reindex. Sometimes I just want to look up something quick, but I can't. It's gotten so bad, that often times it's quicker to just open Biblia.com to open the resource I need!
So here's my suggestion: have a program option to open Logos in "bare-bones" mode.
It would be like "Safe-Mode" for Windows operating systems -- only essential applications will run. You would get to choose a select few of your resources that you would want to have in "bare-bones" mode. This would probably include your primary Bibles, a Greek and Hebrew text, and a few dictionaries and lexicons. Maybe a few commentaries. Whatever you use most.
This would mean:
1) No checking for and installing updates
2) No indexing
3) Can only search and access a select few resources
My guess is that would speed up Logos immensely for those times you wanted to do something simple. I would use this all the time!
Theoretically, you could do #3 by hiding all of your resources except the ones you wanted in bare-bones mode, but then you'd have to unhide everything again when you want to run Logos normally. I think having two different modes would be fantastic.

Easy way to do this is just hold down Ctrl and start Logos and chose the "Work Offline"
and Logos will not download so no index will be done.

No updates and no sync but all your changes will be saved until you go back online.

In the meantime, you may be better off turning off automatic downloads, and just have Logos update once a week/fortnight, when you type update now into the command bar.
