How do I make CBV use the whichever translation is currently/last selected instead of always using my preferred Bible?

Thanks!

    Hi Aaron

How do I make CBV use the whichever translation is currently/last selected instead of always using my preferred Bible?

For me it always uses the last selected - can you provide a few more details of what you are doing?

What version of Logos are you using?

As Graham pointed out, the CBV uses the last translation you used when you last used the CBV (hope that makes sense).

I am not aware of a way to make the CBV use the translation that is currently active on my Logos desktop (if that's what you're asking about).

If using the Smart tag "Replace with passage" in MS Word it always uses the preferred bible rather than the last one selected or used in Logos.

    Hello All,

Thank you very much for your replies--very helpful.

I am using Logos 4 (with all updates). Typically, I find a verse in a Bible, then use the keyboard shortcut to bring up the CBV window. As y'all mentioned, it always uses the last version that CBV was set to, versus the current version in the active window. Oh well--but good to know for sure, thanks. I can always use the right click shortcuts for Bible verse copying. It's just a wee bit tedious (relatively speaking of course).
