Can anyone tell me why the personal books I have added on my desktop are not available on my laptop? Thanks for any help.

Personal books don't currently sync. The data about the books syncs, but the books themselves don't.
You'll need to manually copy the .docx files from your desktop to your laptop, and then rebuild then books. It's easiest if you can put them in exactly the same place on both computers, as that way you don't have to keep telling Logos where the .docx files are.

You could also use something like Dropbox to automatically synchronize the personal book docx files between the two computers. That way you don't have to worry about copying them manually.
