I downloaded a product and it was way larger and takes up more room in my library than i wanted and i want to remove it. Does anyone know how would i be able to do that?
First, welcome to the forums! [:)]
Logos doesn't provide a way to pick and choose resources on installations. If you don't want it at all, call Logos and ask them to remove the license from your account. You can also "hide" the resource, which should have been called "archive" since it removes the resource from your computer but maintains the license.
Here is a wiki link to hiding books: http://wiki.logos.com/Hiding_Books
thanks, i have like 1000 books i want to remove, i saw something about rebuilding my index. That is exactly what i want to do without these books, do you know how i could do that?
Jordan if you want to rebuild your index then type "rebuild index" in the command box, without the quotes.
Yes I am aware of that I his don't know how to get recent books out of my index I don't want there
I don't get what rebuilding the index should so exactly
Hide the books you do not want and then rebuild the index. This will definitely remove them.
Seems like you have to remove Perseus Collection. I would call logos and tell them to lock it. It's the most easiest way
