Just curious...where did the name 'Lexham' come from? What's the back-story?
I'm just guessing...lexicon/lexical + Bellingham
No idea. I assume "Lex" comes from "Lexicon." Perhaps the "H" is for "Hebrew" and the "A" for "Aramaic." When they got to the final letter, they though "M" was better than "G." [:P]
FWIW - Here is the official website: http://lexhamenglishbible.com
Wow. I bet you are right.
I have no idea either but it is sort of fun to guess. Here is my contribution...
Lex is actually the name of a computer program. Perhaps it was based off of this. I like David's suggestion for the second half - originating in Bellingham. Therefore Lexham is a computer program originating in Bellingham. [:)]
Maybe Bob's ancestors are from here [:P]
Peace! Lex is Latin for Law!
lēx, lēgis f law, statute, bill, rule, principle, contract, condition; lēgem ferre propose a bill; lēgem perferre carry a motion; lēge agere proceed according to law; sine lēge out of control.
Guess what is Hebrew for "Law" OR "Instruction" .....

You are right, according to Morris Proctor:
"Logos publishes its own resources under the brand Lexham (from lexicon and Bellingham, home of the company)."

Lexham was the result of playing with parts of words, searching for available domain names and trademarks, etc.
The Lexham Press logo features a stylized version of the round-tower churches in East and West Lexham; the East Lexham church is believed to be one of the oldest churches in England.

So, in some way we are all right. [:)]
Except for me. I combined Lex Luthor and Gotham City. I didn't realize Lex had been POTUS at one time (Wikipedia).
