Verbum Plus - horrible download performance

I guess we'll get through it, but there is a large download attached to updating to Verbum plus, and the network response time is TERRIBLE from the servers (Amazon? Logos? Not sure whose they are in this case)

Normally Logos downloads are very fast for me. This time, it has been downloading for 4 hours, and I have paused it, restarted and rebooted my machine to no avail.:

I have been running the network performance monitor, as you can see the use of the network is very sporadic, like it is either waiting a lot for servers to respond or it is doing something other than trying to download data; it never gets above about 8% of network utilization being used, and most of the time it's a 1% or less:

My connection is very fast and working well. At the same time I ran a speed test and got excellent results:

So I don't know what's going on, but something very inefficient or that has broken has appeared?

    I've had severe problems posting to the forums several times this week, including earlier today. I think it's usually been in the hours before Logos opens. 

    Not sure that's the same server, though?

    That's what I saw as well. I clicked Preview, the wheel spun, but iStat Menus kept showing 0.0 KB/s.

    Me too. Both directions showed higher speed than I pay for.

    I downloaded the Verbum Basic +in about 5 minutes, for both my PC and Laptop. I only had 500 meg of upgrades. No speed problems in Detroit.

    It appears that if you already have Logos5/Verbum you do not want to run Verbum.exe [unless you want two installs on your machine]

    The new resources will load into your current Logos5/Verbum installation the next time it runs sync.
