Bootcamp Windows XP Crashes every time!

Hello

Logos 4 will not open and it crashes every time. Here's what I've got going on.

Hardware: Macbook Pro (2.53 Intel, 4GB ram, 500 HD)

I have Windows XP SP3 installed on my "bootcamp" partition. I installed Logos 4 there a couple of weeks ago and everything was fine. Then, I tried running it inside of Mac OSX using bootcamp and VM Fusion. That's when it started crashing. So I thought Logos 4 wouldn't run through VM Fusion and I shutdown Mac OSX and booted the computer straight into Windows XP. Still crashes. So I uninstalled everything and deleted every Logos file I could find and downloaded a fresh install and 6GB worth of data. It installs, but when it gets to "preparing your library," it crashes again.

I have also tried to press control while opening up logos 4 and starting a blank layout, but that doesn't work either.

Please help!

    Check out this article http://wiki.logos.com/Bug_Report

And then click on the Diagnostic logging link at the bottom, it will give you an alternate way to turn logging on. The ctl method didn't work for me either.

This problem was resolved on the regular forum, but Mac users should note this.

The problem was related to the "layouts" feature. I was creating a custom layout on Logos 4 Mac alpha 7 when it crashed. After that, the windows version started crashing as well, presumably due to syncing a layouts file that was corrupt. I needed to delete the layouts.db file and now it works fine.

So if you are using both windows and mac versions of logos 4, then you may end up importing some mac bugs into your windows version!
