Reviewing highlights ....

I read quite a bit on the kindle because of the ability to capture all of the highlighting I've done in a particular book. When I'm finished with a book I go to kindle.amazon.com --> Your Highlights and copy them in to a doc so that I have them for later reference/review.
Is there a similar feature in Logos? Can I see online (or in the app) somewhere all of the highlighting I've done in a particular resource?

Which apps are you using?
This feature is available in the mobile apps (certainly in the current betas) not sure about stable versions.
Edit: Available under "Tools -> Highlights"

For clarification: there isn't a "quote view." Graham directed you to see where the notes are stored. Logos creates a note for each highlight (in other words, a highlight is a special view of a note). When the note is created, the note is given a name, which is taken from the quote. This title can be changed without effecting the highlight. When you create a highlight in L5, the note title is a shortened version of the highlight (unless the highlight is short enough). In the iOS apps, it has been a full version of the highlight... But this behavior is considered a "bug." Logos does need to add a "quote view" generated from highlights.

Not quite sure what you mean in the context of this thread
The Tool I pointed to shows all the highlights that have been made grouped by resource.
Am I missing your point here?

Yes. [:)]
The OP asked about being able to have access to quotes like in Kindle... To be able to copy/paste/manipulate. That doesn't exist in the Logos ecosphere. You can open the note document, but there isn't a "quote view". The tool you suggested is useful for taking you to the quotes, but not having just a simple list of quotes.

But even that view doesn't show the whole quote (unless it is short), and you can't select the text to copy and paste.
it is nice though

True on both points!

This is a planned feature, but wasn't a high priority since you can already copy the text of a highlight by clicking the highlight (and navigating to it) then copying the text from there.

Thanks Drew. FWIW- anything perceived as a negative comment in this thread shouldn't be seen as directed to the mobile app. These capabilities should be baked into L5. [;)]
