footnotes and search needs Faithlife

I'm trying to get Faithlife on my I-Pad to do two things:

Show the footnotes that are tagged in the Bible text. The footnote tag is on the text, but there is no related footnote.

When I highlight a word for word study, it gives me either the Hebrew or the Greek. I'd prefer to have a simple definition out of one of my dictionaries. How do I do this?

Do you mean that you don't get the footnote information if you tap the footnote or that it isn't displayed in the resource itself?

If the latter then you need to download the Bible and ensure that "Inline Footnotes" are enabled

That is how the app works - when using a Bible with reverse interlinear capability and I don't know any way to change it.
