Android BlueStacks on atom processor Windows 8 tablet

there'sWet here's a number of posts that show that Logos 5 for Windows does not work well on a Windows 8 tablet that has an Atom processor. It is too slow.

Has anyone tried running BlueStacks on an atom win 8 tablet, and then running The Android version of Logos in BlueStacks?

why? Well a win8 Tablet may vibe preferred for some functionality for non Logos apps, but you still want access to Logos.

best of both worlds? Anyone tried this who can report back?

I've tried running Logos on Bluestacks on my Surface Pro and the experience has been a bit disappointing. It takes several seconds to turn a page or to have a highlight show up. I'm reading a big book, so that might have some effect, but the only thing I really get out of it is the ability to highlight without a pen.

I'm running Bluestack with Logos on my Asus T100 tablet, which has a new generation Atom processor, and it works great.

It takes about 30 to 40 seconds to start Bluestacks with the Logos app in it. But that's only the first time. After that, you can keep the Bluestacks program running. It won't use battery power when you put your tablet in standby.

After loading, the Logos app runs like it would on an Android tablet. There is the page-turn issue: when turning a page, the first page takes 2 seconds to turn. But after that, page turning is in less than a second.

I think Bluestacks is the best way to read Logos books on a Windows tablet.
