Two users - 1 computer

I want to make sure I know how to do this - my daughter and I both have a licensed version of Logos, and we want to have them on a single laptop for when the family travels. Do I just install Logos completely twice, signing in to each account as one or the other wants to use it? Although Logos doesn't ask for log in when you start it, how does that work?

I used to keep production and beta installations in different Windows accounts which worked fine. It also works to have Logos and Verbum in the same Window account which is what I usually do now - Logos being the beta.

The easiest thing might be to install the verbum App for her. https://verbum.com/devices/mac is a link if you are on windows just click the windows. The advantage this is you can have two stable releases and they both will have no issues in switching (as long as you have the space for two installs).

I would recommend to open 2 users account in windows. For each user, their logos. It would be easier to use logos and other personal files along with it...

To clarify:-

Hold down the Ctrl key before you start Logos. That gives you to option to log in.

Install Logos with one of your Logos accounts. When complete, hold down the Ctrl key whilst you start Logos and enter the other Logos account. This will result in another lot of downloading and indexing. Now you have two Logos accounts in the same Windows user account, and you will have to start Logos with the Ctrl key to logon to the correct account. If you start Logos without the Ctrl key you may get into the wrong account. If the software needs updating it is done once for both accounts.

Alternatively, create two user accounts in Windows. Each will have their own Logos installation.

Perhaps the simplest way is to install the other Logos account in a different Windows user account. When you login to your Windows account and start Logos, it will automatically start with your Logos account. This method will use a little more hard drive space (abt. 100 MB).
