Is there a way to see what materials are for rent Or is it just luck?
I do not know of a way aside from blind luck at the moment.
The only thing I really recall reading is the original blog post: http://blog.logos.com/2013/09/new-rent-logos-resources as well as a few others: http://blog.logos.com/?s=rent&submit=Search
When you do a search the sidebar full of options has
at that point you can select rental. When I searched for Leviticus, it tells me there are 9 rentals, although only one modern commentary the rest of the rentals are classic commentaries. Under the products menu on the home page if you select browse all it lists 48 rentals all modern books seem to be from baker or Logos... with selection of classic works available as well.

Thanks Dan, I knew one must be there but simply could not find it. Grr.
Anyway, here's the link to all 48 rentals available at the moment:

Add unlocked=no to hide the ones you already own:

At one time you could type in "Rentals" in the logos search bar and all the books available to rent would pop up. A few weeks ago I noticed this feature no longer worked. I am not sure why logos cut this out. It may have something to do with the problems they are currently having trying to remove rentals from people's libraries. I once rented some commentaries and after they expired, they never left my library. You couldn't open them, nor could you remove them. A technician had to manually go into my computer and remove them one by one. Logos maybe waiting to fix this problem before allowing people search again for book rentals. Thats my guess.
Logos has made some changes to the web site and you can now browse rentals. On www.logos.com select Store > Special Products > Rentals.
Or click here: https://www.logos.com/products/search?Product+Type=Rental
