Are others getting an error on the Logos site? Is there really that much traffic that the site crashed within a short period of announcing Logos 6. Seriously?
I am as well, in the midst of trying to purchase an upgrade so I suspect it's a combination of the large download and the L6 launch causing unusually high amounts of traffic.
Yep other (like me) have gotten it all morning.
Got on once, tried to follow a link and was booted off the site with a X 504 error.
That is absolutely ridiculous. It's not like Logos planned a launch this day, and couldn't have thought about problems in advance, right?
Has nothing to do with how much bandwidth and server load gets used. You CAN'T plan for that. Even Apple has issues like this on launch days.
I'm getting the same thing. I have no insight into whether these problems were not anticipated, or whether the response to the launch was simply and greatly underestimated.
Either way (or some other way), I can't get on Logos.com either.
I'll probably just wait until tomorrow.
I found if I log out (click Sign out at top of the forum page), then it is fine to access logos.com. Just can't buy anything, which is probably a good. And also can't see dynamic pricing to see how much I would actually have to pay. But at least can browse the site to find out about Logos 6.
Hopefully they will either add more bandwidth/resources to the site so people can actually log in. Or I will have to wait until everyone else has gone to bed.

No proper site, just what Ipresume to be a US ? phone number.
When I go via a bookmark (set to pre-pubs, sorted most recent) ... I get a similar display ... but not Verbum, L6.
Seems to be like the entire site is broken ... I cannot believe that this is intentional ... not even the marketing division, with its inglorious past history, would do this ... would they?
It is intentional -- but not planned. They are fixing a problem with the site and will be back up ASAP.

Hi Martin - you can get through by phone from the UK on 0871 218 1700. I just did that, and got through to a sales rep pretty quickly and was able to order that way. It's now downloaded, indexed and working (although some datasets don't seem to have downloaded yet but I'm putting that down to server congestion - I can live without propositional outlines for another day or so!)
