KJV 1900 has all the verses together while say NASB has it neat, each new verse is a new paragraph

Try playing around with the Visual Filter "Bible Text Only"
The key is to have "one verse per line" selected but you can also adjust the others to suit
got it.
Also, be aware that there are some issues with the KJV1900. These may or may not apply to you.
