Is this PC (hexa core, S-ATA III) worth the cost in the long run?

Configuration:

HDD (I don't know whether it's S-ATA II or III) - the computer must have S-ATA III though as a similar computer (with about the same CPU) has, but I have a spare unused SSD S-ATA III (bought used) and may copy everything over from the HDD to the SSD. I don't need a lot of space for personal files or media.
Power supply: Antec 620 W.
8 GB RAM DDR 3
Mainboard: Asus m4a88t-I DELUXE. I would suppose it supports more RAM but I haven't checked.

OS: Win 7 Ultimate. I have a Win 8.1 64-bit license unused OEM as well (bought used cheap) but it might be unnecessary to format the disk and install that Win 8.1 as Win 7 only supports Logos 3/Libronix which I also use. How long do You think Microsoft will continue to update Win 7?

Windows Experience Index 5.8 with the HDD and Win 7. Graphics is the weakest part.

The option would to wait 3-4 weeks and let a guy build a computer like the above exact same CPU, 12 GB RAM, with professional cable installation, good fans, high quality mainboard and OK power supply for just slightly less.

The first computer is $391. The latter one is $419. Would it be worth the expense and how many years do You think these would last?

Yeah, that is one of the concerns. So You don't think the CPU is too old to run Logos fine for many years to come? On a tech-forum could they do more than to speculate freely as to how long Microsoft will support Win 7?:

I'm not a tech type guy, but it seems to me that this is a bit on the slow side. Mine is 4 yrs old and runs at 3.4 gh. I wouldn't install Windows 8.1 if I were you. I have 8.1 on my laptop and hate it. I much prefer my desktop machine with Windows 7 64 bit.

You have about the same CPU? Good to know. GHz doesn't make a difference, but when looking at the different AMD Phenom II X6 CPU:s there are several models and the ones with higher GHz are noticeably faster. Thanks for the opinion, George!:

OK maybe a rather old hexa core is overkill and the first computer got sold. (Just the equivalent one left.)

1. A 64 bit machine will run 32 bit software.
2. An i7 would be better, but i5 isn't bad.
3. 8 G should be sufficient.

2) i7 is better, but the benchmark results for this particular i5 are certainly decent and it has higher GHz than my i7 laptop.
3) 8 GB isn't really sufficient for me, I constantly run out of RAM.

He doesn't accept my current bid for the computer I mentioned. It has Office, I forgot to mention that. You are right George, considering I can managed without MS Office it's not a good deal at all and he is pressuring for still higher bids and refuses to go lower than the other bid just because I don't need a graphics card.

I immediately bid $217. Seller accepting bids if fast and smooth sales. EDIT: haven't got a reply yet, perhaps because it's late in the evening. I now said I bid $13½ above any current bids and that I can come and buy it immediately.
I don't know about the shape of the computer. It's a desktop and seller says it's built to be silent.

Despite that I was VERY fast on bidding on the latest computer (it was the latest ad when I bid) I seem to be loosing out because of another bidder. So I now offered to bid $95 above any bid the other bidder has. The seller is meeting the buyer tomorrow forenoon if he doesn't accept my bid and sell to me instead. EDIT: I'm bidding $392 for it right now - I don't know how much the other buyer is bidding but I now offered to bid $108 above his/her bid. EDIT2: I'm currently bidding $433 still not knowing how much the other buyer bid. EDIT3: I'm bidding $460 - and the situation is still the exact same I don't know if I get it.

I think I'll to forget about all the above computers they are frustrating and I shouldn't spend the money. A better option might still be this two days old ad:

OK, so I finally found a lower price on a similar computer as the above except this one is fairly new (bought Christmas 2013). It's such a good deal that even without looking up anything at all about the CPU (not even how many cores it has) I called and said I take it. This one I will be no matter what and am very unlikely to have to raise my "bid" and the seller told me the price and accepted. There were no specifications whatsoever in the ad - just the brand - which is probably why the price had not gone up much:

graphics: AMD Radeon HD 8470, 2 GB. It's important that it's 2 GB because it's so silly to run out of graphics memory all the time in late 2014!

The computer has not been used much.

This will be a real blessing and time-saver. I got lucky. Can't ever imagine a better deal and I don't think the prices are going down anytime in the near future so even though I might manage without buying a computer at all there's no point whatsoever in waiting. Hooray! This time I seemed to have done God's will.

The worst part about the computer is that it comes with no USB 3.0 which may indicate it might be low budget and that the only thing I'm paying for is the CPU, or what do You think. Just eight USB 2.0.

Do You think the software will fly on this? What do You think of the price $216? Are computers any cheaper than this in the U.S. or even as cheap?
