Is it possible to have two (or more) instances of the Library open at the same time? I'd like to be able to see a list of all "My Tags" while tagging new resources.
Unfortunately it is not. You can sort your library by more than one category. Click the first column header to sort by that category, then hold the 'shift' key and click the second header. I don't know if that will help you accomplish what you want to do.
This is why I have created a separate document with the list of all my "My Tags". This document is also useful because I include some reasoning behind what other things may be included in tags. E.g. for me "Media" means resources with audio and/or video and not simply pictures.
Thanks, Fred. That's an adequate work-around. I can sort by "My Tag" and then open the "--" section, sort secondarily by title, find my new resource, and scroll down to see all my tags. A little cumbersome -- would be nice to see the list at the same time that I'm typing the tag in the new resource info pane. But having the suggestions drop down as I type the tag helps keep me from creating stray tags accidentally.
