Confirmed. Check the forums over the last couple of days. Many of us experienced new errors with SR1 & SR2. There are numerous similar reports (other interlinears) & other new problems.

For me, it's L3 this weekend.

You are correct about that Rich. Does anyone know what software is used? I help run a forum that gets about 1,000,000 hits per year, and is much easier to search, both using Google Custom Search (which I am not that big on) and native vBulletin search.

On a side note : I just completed a new reinstall this morning... it didn't work.

Too bad I was caught in the SR2 fiasco too (http://community.logos.com/forums/t/8544.aspx?PageIndex=2). I think whoever authorized a release on a holiday weekend with "apparently" no one watching is - in my opinion poor judgement - it would have better to wait until the beginning of the week. I know they'll fix it ASAP, but it would be nice if you could roll back to a previous good point (just a thought [^o)].

Do your other RI's still work? For many of us, the download (resources) didn't make it into our libraries... indexing took FAR too litle time.

I'm sorry about that. I wish there were some file I could suggest you delete and re-run update resources to fix it all. But I don't know any.

My understanding was that SR-2 was only to fix the Dec 31 crashing bug and it was pretty urgent that they release it before Dec 31, hence it was a holiday weekend by the time most people got it. I too am one of the ones who waited to upgrade to SR-1 until SR-2 was out so I never had SR-1 as an intermediate step. And I got the update through the default update channel, not the beta channel (I'd switched from the beta to the regular channel once 4.0 shipped and never got any of the 4.0a betas). Maybe those of us who did that got to avoid the problems. But still, that wouldn't explain why those who have completely reinstalled SR-2 from scratch are still having problems. I'm baffled.

I've had Portfolio since it came out, and I'm having all these problems since yesterday's startup:

-NASB reverse interlinear not working

-Interlinear LXX not available

-Bible People/Places/Things not working

New bugs today:

-Media Resources section of Passage Guide not working. (It worked yesterday morning but appeared to be missing a lot of resources.)

-Resource excerpts missing from Home Page.

I don't think I had this many problems at once when I was a Beta tester.

HP Pavilion dv7 Notebook PC, x64-based, AMD Turion X2 Dual-Core Mobile RM-72, MS Windows Vista Home Premium.

Oh, I spoke too soon. I had only tried NASB95, which was working fine for me. ESV works too, but KJV just shows a blank space where the RI panel should be, and NLT doesn’t even open up a RI panel at all when I click on Interlinear.[:S]

BTW, is anyone else having problems with not being able to access the Forum today? Just now I've had trouble loading it -- a couple of times it was the normal IE cannot display the website message, but then once I got "Service Unavailable" from the community.logos.com site itself. Maybe their servers have the hiccups over the holidays -- could be the cause of all the RI and other problems too? Maybe with such mission critical software (dual interpretations of that!), they're going to need to start posting staff there over the weekends. I hope not, for their sake, though.

I too have had Portfolio since early on. I also got non of the 4.0a betas and used the regular update channel, but I'm experiencing the SR-2 problems.

I never had SR-1 as an intermediate step.

I did however install the SR-1update. It sounds from the experience of others that this may be the source of the problem.

Perhaps this has been reported or it is just me, but I no longer have the RI function in the NASB95.

Richard DeRuiter figured out the problem and has proposed a temporary solution (until such time as the Logos guys get back to work on Monday and can fix this for us): Set your computer clock back a few days to before December 31, and your Rev. Int. will suddenly start working again (you might have to restart Logos). We think this might have something to do either with the date bug that was fixed (supposedly) in SR-2, or the fact that some of the beta resources were set to expire on midnight Dec 31. Could it be that these RI resources are still marked as beta versions? (And some of the other features that some people have been having problems with since the New Year rolled over: e.g., Biblical People/Places/Things.)
